Global Village

Are you ready to be the change you wish to see in the world?  If so, you are ready to get started as a Dream Leader and fill the Global Village! The Global Village is a visual fundraising tool that sets goals and monitors progress as groups and individuals work towards their adopted dream initiative.   Fundraising campaigns around the world are created around this work of art.  Getting started is easy!!

1.  Get Focused!  First, decide what part of the Global Village you will target.  Will you send kids with disabilities on adventure activities that will change their lives?  Will you support your brothers and sisters in other countries through our global projects?  And maybe you will raise so much money, you will fill the whole map!! Yay!!

2.  Get Other Involved!  Let others in your schools, communities, and families know what you are doing.  Encourage parents to get their businesses involved.  Remember, the more people you have involved, the bigger and better your project will be.  Just think of all the lives you can touch!

3. Choose a Fundraising Project!  This is the most fun part!  Look through our 101 FUNdraisers Ideas to get the ideas flowing.   Don’t be afraid to do multiple projects.  The sky is the limit!

4. Contact us!  Make sure to tell the Dreams for Kids staff what you are doing, so we can feature you on our website and help inspire other kids to be as giving and passionate as you are!  We will also send you an awesomely big Global Village poster and stickers so you can track your fundraising progress.   Each sticker represents a dream come true. A completed Village is a beautiful and sustainable representation of a community and world made better by YOUR caring actions.
