WHO WE ARE: Dreams for Kids works with youth living in poverty and with disabilities and connects them with their peers to create an army of goodwill ambassadors committed to helping others. Our Dream Leaders know what it is like to live with constant struggles, so they are all the more passionate about giving back to those suffering in Haiti.
WHAT WE CAN DO: We have partnered with some of the most experienced and respected experts in the world that specialize in immediate, yet sustainable, disaster relief. Our partners are renown for knowing what is required to get the work done quickly and efficiently. It is incredibly complicated on the ground during disaster recovery and relief work must be coordinated with local culture, government and security. It is in this important level of competence that our implementing partners are most experienced. The wells will not only save lives now, they will provide life-long clean drinking water for the entire community it is located.
HOW WE DO IT: Because our relief workers are volunteers and our administration costs are covered by other initiatives and sponsors, we guarantee that 100% of your contribution will go directly to the wells. We also will obtain documentation of the work which is done on your behalf and of the Haitian people whose lives you will save.
