Becoming a Mentee

We have designed the Mentoring Program with you- the Dream Leader- in mind.  A mentor is a positve adult who will be an extra listening ear and guiding support.  We will work to match you with a mentor that shares similiar interests, passions, and career goals with you, so they will be a good resource for you.  They will also take you on fun and memorable outings throughout the year around your interests!  Don’t miss out on this opportunity!

The time and participatory requirements of the mentee are as follows:

  • An introductory mixer to bring together the mentors and mentees in a fun and relaxed atmosphere,
  • Regular meetings with your mentor, which must total at least six hours a month for a 12 month period and participation in four Dreams for Kids scheduled community service events,
  • Attendance at a closing ceremony to celebrate the mentor/mentee relationship.
