Allison Mabbott

Allison joined Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana (RMHC-CNI) in September 2009. As an Event Manager and Volunteer Coordinator she managed major annual events and coordinated the charity’s volunteer effort. After one year devoted to the charity’s annual operations, Allison was called over to support the charity’s capital campaign, and to manage communications for the building of the world’s largest Ronald McDonald House. In addition to managing the capital’s campaign’s communications effort, Allison is responsible for grant writing and meets with potential partners and sponsors to forge new relationships, on a regular basis.

Allison graduated in May 2009, from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, with a B.A. in Communications. She has interned for a handful of communications based companies including: Harpo Studios- The Oprah Winfrey Show; Radio Disney AM 1300; WCIA Channel 3 News-a CBS affiliate; and Tom Blair Inc.-a production company affiliated with ESPN2.

Outside of RMHC-CNI, Allison volunteers for Advocate Hope Children’s Hospital in affiliation with the Care Mobile, and looks forward to her new role as an Associate Board member for Dreams For Kids.
