The Associate Board supports the Dreams For Kids mission and engages dedicated members of our community who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our youth.

The mission of the Associate Board is to promote awareness of Dreams For Kids in the communities it serves; organize philanthropic initiatives, and provide volunteer service. As ambassadors of Dreams For Kids, board members have the opportunity to participate in many different ways including; fundraising, public relations, outreach, and recruiting of new members.

The Associate Board is an important and influential part of Dreams For Kids and acts as a dynamic social and professional networking and relationship building opportunity for its members.

How do I join the Associate Board?

The Associate Board welcomes those interested in joining the board to fill out an application, attend one of its quarterly meeting, participate in one of its social events, or volunteer for an organization program event.

How often does the Associate Board meet?

Full Associate Board meetings are held on a quarterly basis. You will have the opportunity to be part of the working board and attend meetings, serve on a committee, or choose to support the mission by attending events, recruiting members, and raising funds and awareness for Dreams For Kids.

Is there a financial contribution to be an Associate Board member?

Yes, there is a $100 annual donation to Dreams For Kids.

Do I have to live in the area to be a member?

No, Although meetings and events often take place in areas where Dreams For Kids is located, you can still participate even at a distance. Associate Board members may be in other states in the U.S. or in Canada, or in places around the world. You remain active and connected with the board through serving on event planning committees, spreading awareness, raising funds in your local areas, or by making gift contributions.

What are the benefits of joining the Associate Board?

Making a difference in the lives of people with at-risk youth and those with disabilities is the primary benefit.

In addition, you will have an opportunity to network with civic and business leaders and build lasting relationships. As a member, you will also have an opportunity to showcase your talents and interests by planning fundraising events and organizing volunteer activities.
