This year Dreams for Kids will be joined by individuals and groups from India, Egypt, Argentina, Africa, and many others for the largest celebration of its kind in the world!

Holiday for Hope was started with a small act of kindness by a dozen volunteers on Christmas Eve 1989; 54 children in a homeless shelter on the Southside of Chicago were given the gift of Christmas. Left with the words by Clara’s House Shelter founder Clara Kirk,, “If you would not have come, these kids would never have known it was Christmas,” Dreams for Kids was inspired and determined to reach further each year. Today, the Holiday for Hope celebration brings love and joy to over 6,000 children worldwide.
