Jeff Hay

Childhood dream: To be a professional basketball player
Jeff has over 18 years of experience working in the healthcare industry, combining his love of sports and medicine into the athletic training profession. Throughout his career as an athletic trainer, Jeff has had the opportunity to work with many sports including professional soccer, rugby, high school sports, endurance events, and even a local rodeo. He also spent four years as an assistant athletic trainer with the Chicago Bears and currently works as a regional manager for AthletiCo Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy where he is responsible for the operational management and support of eight AthletiCo rehabilitation facilities.
Since 2008, Jeff has traveled with Global Medical Brigades to support and provide basic medical needs to the people that live in underserved areas of rural Honduras. In 2009, he was invited to join the Global Brigades Board of Directors and now has the opportunity to make a difference in all of their programs throughout Latin America and now extending into Africa.
Jeff is actively involved with AthletiCo’s Leadership Development, Charitable Giving, and Eco-Friendly committees. In addition, Jeff, his wife, Pam, and their three children all participated in the recent Dreams For Kids/AthletiCo Beautification Project at a local elementary school.
Jeff enjoys working directly with people to improve their health and well-being. He resides in Glenview and hold a B.A. in Biology from Illinois Wesleyan University and a M.S. in Athletic Training from Illinois State University.
