Steve Ignelzi
Title: Development Committee
Childhood dream: To be an astronaut and walk on the Moon like Neil Armstrong
Steve joined First Chicago (a predecessor of JP Morgan Chase) in 1989 and has extensive banking and corporate finance experience, particularly in the energy, power, and transportation industries. Currently, Steve is Head of Asset Management within JPMorgan’s investment Banking Energy Investments group, which specializes in making direct investments in utility-scale renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and geothermal power generation.
This is Steve’s first leadership level position in the non-profit world and he seeks to learn everything he can while sharing his own business and finance experiences with others in order to best move Dreams For Kids towards its goal to be successful and viable over the long term.
Steve counts his blessings to have his wonderful wife, Melissa, as his partner in life and his three active boys (Kaden, Collin, and Chase.) Steve enjoys travel, good food, and coaching his sons in whatever sport happens to be in-season.
Steve earned his BSE in Chemical Engineering at Princeton University and his MBA at the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University.
