Dreams for Kids teams up with Street Soccer USA to help them hold their National Soccer tournament, supporting rehabilitated homeless people who are overcoming their struggles. All activities will take place at Washington Kastles Stadium in Chinatown. We are going to have volunteer groups there on Friday and Saturday. The times are flexible, and volunteering will be done in slots. For more information or to sign up to volunteer, send an email to Suzannah Hiza.
Environmental Service Project
Saturday, August 7th

Dreams for Kids is partnering with the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club and the National Parks Service to complete a trail maintenance project in Rock Creek Park. Participants will have the chance to learn about preserving the environment while enjoying the great outdoors and engaging in a beneficial, hands-on project. If you are interested in protecting our local wilderness and preserving a piece of this historic trail, or to request more information, please contact Suzannah Hiza.
Extreme Recess Water Skiing Clinic

Dreams for Kids is following up its hugely successful event from last year with another even bigger water skiing clinic this year! We are going to have more boats, more food, more trained volunteers and most importantly…MORE KIDS! If you would like to sign up a child for a full day of adaptive water-skiing, outdoor activities and fun with their peers get in touch! Holiday for Hope

DC’s Holiday for Hope will bring together 200 homeless & underpriveleged kids for a one of a kind holiday celebration that will include; Arts & Crafts, Live musical performances, magic shows, cookie and hat decorating, a full holiday feast and each child will receive a bag of new presents.
