Dreams For Kids Canada

Dreams For Kids is expanding to Canada!

The vision of Dreams For Kids is to unite children of disability, race, religion, and socio-economic background and inspire them to realize their full potential and serve as active members of their communities and citizens of the world. For years, Dreams For Kids has worked in the United States to empower at-risk youth and those with disabilities to fearlessly pursue their dreams and compassionately change the world.

Dreams For Kids believes that no matter what country a child lives in,  their dreams and potential are of equal importance and need to be supported. The expansion into Canada is another step for Dreams For Kids  in creating new possibilities for the young dreamers across North America.

The expansion is lead by Iain Duncan, a close friend of Dreams For Kids. Iain has been involved with Dreams For Kids since his time working for Free The Children in Toronto and Ecuador. He has been a youth facilitator, led groups of young people on international volunteer trips and has worked for a number of years in international and local non-profits. As a recipient of a Wild Gift fellowship, Iain founded an environmental education centre in India that is run on solar power, has organic gardens and is working to reforest 26 acres of land with native tree species.

With his passion for helping others and his genuine belief that every young person is full of shining potential, Iain has been leading the Dreams For Kids expansion into Canada. Iain believes, “We know we’ll find the support to bring dreams to life for a whole new group of young people.”
