Light/No Light: Experimenting with Pinhole Cameras

The Juniors in Light, Sound, and Time investigated the guiding question: What would life look like without light?. They studied camera exposure to better understand how the human eye reacts to lightness and darkness. To bring these concepts to life, the students built and experimented with pinhole cameras. They took pictures with their cameras and developed them in the makeshift darkroom Adam built at our new home at 9 W. Washington.

Why?

The purpose of this Field Experience is to see the concepts of light waves and how we perceive them come to life.

How?

Students experimented with light using their hand-built pinhole cameras.
